I'm new to the group and I have a question that I hope someone can answer.
I have a website that uses a frameset with two frames. Because the site is
heavily text-based, I wanted to add some small directional buttons on each
page in the main frame that would allow the user to quickly get back to the
top of each page. I went through the .html pages one at a time and added
the button graphics, making each one an image map to an anchor at the top
of the page. In my web browser and in a web editor, everything looks great.
The pages load into the frameset, the buttons are there on each page and
they all direct the user to the top when clicked. However, when I upload
all of my pages and the button graphics to the server, the graphics will
not appear on any of the pages. There is a blank square where each button
should be and the square will still act as a link to the top of the page if
clicked, but the graphic doesn't show up. The button graphics were loaded
onto the server, so I know that isn't the problem. How does one get
graphics to appear in the individual pages of a frameset? Any information
about this will be greatly appreciated!
